HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS IN 35MM FILM

So, here's the scoop: we're Florida residents, which basically makes us honorary Disney citizens. Disney’s generous “let’s make this magical” spirit means that we get these fabulous annual passes at a discount just for living here. A whole year of unlimited Mickey, Minnie, and Mickey-shaped pretzels! And who wouldn't jump at the chance to be a Disney Passholder? We get to swing by any time we like—like it’s our very own backyard.

This month was extra special because it was my grandson’s big second birthday! His parents decided Hollywood Studios was the ultimate spot for the celebration because his current obsession is “Toy Story.” He’s at that age where Woody and Buzz aren’t just movie characters; they’re practically his best friends. And Hollywood Studios? It's like Toy Story central, where he could see all his heroes in person (well, sort of, because when he saw Buzz in person, he hid behind me). Nothing says "I’m two!" like alternating between extreme excitement and total terror every time a larger-than-life cartoon character shows up. Here are a few of my favorites from the day. The first five photos were taken with a Pentax Espio 70 and Fujifilm 400 and the rest with a Nikon Sureshot and Fujifilm 200.
