In addition to my vintage film cameras, I’m also passionate about vintage video cameras and have collected a few over the years. This short footage was captured using the “newest” addition to my collection—a mini DV Sonycam.

I wanted to recreate the nostalgic feeling we get when watching videos from our childhood, where the imperfections and graininess make the memories feel even more magical. To me, there’s no better place to evoke that sense of wonder and nostalgia than Magic Kingdom. The charm of the park, combined with the warm tones and soft focus of the vintage camcorder, brought the atmosphere to life in a way that feels timeless.

Vintage cameras, whether for film or video, have a way of taking us back in time, allowing us to see the world through a lens of simplicity and sentimentality. Capturing Magic Kingdom with this Sonycam felt like bottling up a piece of history and emotion to treasure forever.
